Among all Schnauzers, the Standard Schnauzer serves as the breed prototype, standing about 18 inches tall and weighing between 35 and 45 pounds. This high-spirited and devoted breed is an energetic playmate who enjoys off-leash romps and playtime with family.

As your Standard Schnauzer puppy grows, he will become alert and naturally protective of his family. With keen intelligence, he may also exhibit a strong-willed nature, so it’s essential to start obedience training early.
